We are happy to announce our MSP Program for the 2011 Season.
What is a MSP? A MSP or Meat Share Program is based on the same concept as a classic CSA. Customers purchase a share and in return receive Product from us. Our MSP runs from June till November. With animals you work all year around, raise them all year and butcher them all year. We raise our pastured heritages hogs for 14 months before they reach butcher weight what is more then double the time, they would live in a feed lot. Longer life means more flavor and naturally developed musclemass. Besides our pigs we also raise chickens for meat and eggs as well as Turkeys and Geese for the holiday season. We also produce German egg noodles and potato gnocchi and small amounts of vegetables.
What is the advantage to be a MSP member?
As an MSP member you receive fresh (not frozen meat) every other week for most the entire season. You know where the meat comes from, you know how it was raised and you know where it was processed.
As an MSP member you safe money because you get your shares at our wholesale price.
As an MSP member you will receive updates, recipes and Invitations to events like cooking classes or get together's on the farm.
What is in a share and how big are they?
A full share is designed for a 4 person household, a 1/2 share is for 1-2 person households or families with small children. Every other week you will receive your share beginning with June 4th and ending on November 12th, totaling 12 shares .You can decide if you want the full house share which includes the MSP, 12dozen eggs, 12 packages of noodles and 12 seasonal vegetables (anything we harvest from our garden the week of the share pick up as well as our apples and cider in the fall some things we grow are carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, beets, lettuce, egg plant, zucchini and raspberries. Each package of noodles equals 4 servings. Each seasonal vegetable or fruit share will serve 4 people. You have the option to order a Full Circle share or a Meat and egg share with a holiday turkey or ham saving you even more money.

As a MSP member you have the chance to visit the farm. We encourage you to work at least 8 hours for a full share and 4 hours for a half share. Not only do you save money for helping out, but we also feed you lunch and give you a tour. You are welcome to bring the family and make a day of it
Pick Up Locations and Dates:
Please understand that it is your resposiblity to pick up your share. If you do not pick up at the designated dates or send someone for you, you forfit your share for that pick up date, unless you make prior arrangements for alternate pickup. These arrangements need to be made at least 24 hours in advance of that specific pick up date.
